How should I wear my curly hair to my curly cut appointment?

Please wash your hair within 24 hours of your appointment. Please wear it completely dry, styled and down. Do not wear it in a clip, ponytail or under a hat from the time of your last wash until the time of your appointment.

Should I arrive early for my appointment?

You certainly can arrive early, 5 minutes is preferred, 20 will stress me out. Please take a seat and grab a drink and snack in our waiting area, just past my salon suite, if I am still finishing up with another client.

Should I come with dirty hair for a color appointment?

No. It is not true that dirty hair colors better. Please wash your hair within 24 hours of a color service. I use organic color so it is gentle on the scalp, no need to protect it with your own oils.

Especially if you have grays that need covered, please do not apply conditioner, styling products, or powders to the root area being colored as it may produce inconsistent results. In general, go light on the styling products the day of a color.

I did not see a full highlight on your menu, do you offer them?

I do not offer a full highlight service, only partials. I am a good match for those who want subtle dimension and a moderate transformation away from their natural color range.

Do you like when people bring pictures to show what they want?

Yes! Bring those pictures. About 10 minutes of our time will be spent discussing your lifestyle, what looks excite you and what will realistically work for your hair texture, density and head shape.
